We are seeking talented and motivated interns with a background in geometry processing, geometric deep learning, differentiable geometry, or related computational methods. At Braid, we are pioneering technology that leverages advanced geometry processing techniques to solve the complex challenges of generating, optimizing, and validating realistic engineering designs.
As an intern, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including geometry researchers, mathematicians, physicists, AI researchers, and software engineers. This is a unique opportunity to deepen your expertise, contribute to groundbreaking projects, and gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge geometry technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software, with the support of fellow researchers and software engineers, that addresses real-world engineering design problems.
- Contribute to the research, development, and testing of a variety of cutting-edge algorithms for geometry processing and optimization.
- Strengthen your software development skills while working with modern computational tools and frameworks.
About You
We look for the following skills and experience for this role:
- You are an undergraduate or graduate student with a strong background in geometry processing, geometric deep learning, differentiable geometry, or related computational methods.
- You have experience writing robust and performant software in Python and, ideally, C++.
- You are keen to apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world problems in the domains of automotive and aerospace engineering.
- You’re excited by the prospect of working with a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team based in Tokyo, Japan.
- As a plus, you have prior experience developing software in a professional and collaborative setting.
