We are seeking talented and motivated interns with a strong background in web development, front-end technologies, and software engineering. At Braid, we are building the software technology for the future of design, and we need builders who can create the interface between human creativity and our advanced AI reasoning platform.

As a Full-Stack Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of our platform, working on both the client-facing applications and the connection to the underlying server-side infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with our software engineering and research teams to ensure a seamless and efficient user experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain features for both the front-end interface and the connection to our core reasoning platform.
• UI/UX Implementation: Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional, responsive, and appealing user interfaces.
• System Reliability: Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software defects to ensure the performance and security of our applications.
• Code Quality: Write clean, well-documented, and testable code while learning industry best practices for version control and CI/CD pipelines.

About You

We look for the following skills and experience for this role:

• You are an undergraduate or graduate student with a strong background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• You have a solid understanding of web front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• You have experience with or a strong interest in full-stack systems and connecting web applications to backend services or existing codebases.
• You are a problem-solver who enjoys working across the full technology stack and is eager to learn in a dynamic startup environment.
• As a plus, you have familiarity with data visualization libraries.
